What are UTM tags?
UTM tags (Urchin Tracking Module) are special parameters that are added to the URL link to track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and traffic sources in analytics systems (for example, Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica).
Required parameters
- utm_source - indicates where the users come from
- utm_medium - defines the customer acquisition channel
- utm_campaign - identifies a specific advertising campaign
